What is Chad Gable‘s current status with WWE?
The leader of American Made suffered an unfortunate rotator cuff injury earlier this year while competing as the masked luchador El Grande Americano on an episode of WWE Speed.
Since this occurrence, the El Grande Americano persona was taken over by Ludwig Kaiser. But what happens when the original owner of the character is set to return? It appears we’re about to find out sooner rather than later.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Chad Gable is expected to be at the WWE Performance Center this week in preparation for his return to the ring.
The exact timeline of Gable’s in-ring return is currently unknown. Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
Maxxine Dupri credits Chad Gable for helping her get better in the ring
Last night on WWE RAW, Maxxine Dupri shocked the world by defeating Becky Lynch to become the new Women’s Intercontinental Champion. Dupri has improved a great deal in the ring over the last year, and she credits Gable for her improvement.
Maxxine Dupri was a recent guest on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet. When asked about Chad Gable, Dupri put over her former American Alpha stablemate for helping her improve as an in-ring competitor.
“Oh my gosh, so much,” Maxxine Dupri said. “He’s actually someone kind of what I was saying earlier, he’s a man of few words. So when he tells me something, I take it to heart, because he’s someone that can look at something creatively.
“Just the business, the mind he has for this business, he’s just able to zoom out and see everything and give me these pointers that I’m like, duh, why didn’t I think of that? But I would never, and he sees it so clearly. So I go to him a lot for things like that, because when it comes to matches and just his ability to understand this business truly is out of this world.”
