WWE Not Happy With Priscilla Kelly’s Recent Comments About Pay — Report

WWE is reportedly not happy with Priscilla Kelly‘s recent comments.

Former WWE Superstar Priscilla Kelly (Gigi Dolin) recently made some comments about NXT wrestlers having contracts worth as low as $30,000 a year. She also claimed that she is making more money on the indies than she did in WWE.

However, Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE officials are not happy with Priscilla Kelly’s comments. He refuted Kelly’s claim, saying NXT contracts start at $75,000 per year, but did say that wrestlers under WWE ID contracts make less than $30,000.

“She mentioned that people made as little as $30,000 and, man, people in WWE were not happy with that interview, because nobody is making $30,000 in NXT,” Alvarez said. “The NXT deals start at $75,000. So if you’re on television wrestling on NXT television as a contracted performer, you’re making at minimum $75,000.

“Now, if you are a Jordynne Grace or a Ricky Saints or whoever, you’re obviously going to be making more than that….Nobody is making $30,000, but at the same time, the WWE ID talent – nobody is making close to $30,000. They’re making significantly less because essentially the contracts are [that] we have the right to match any offer.” [H/T WrestlingNews.co]

Priscilla Kelly Opened Up About Going Through Depression At The End Of Her WWE Run

During a recent interview with Denise Salcedo, Priscilla Kelly opened up about going through depression at the end of her WWE run.

Kelly shared that by the end of her run with Toxic Attraction in NXT, she went through a lot of things in WWE that sent her into depression.

“I went through a lot of stuff in WWE that kind of shot me into this horrible depression and at the tail end of Toxic (Attraction) I was severely depressed,” she said. “I put on a bunch of weight, I started not caring about my ring work, I kind of gave up ’cause I was just so depressed because of things that were happening behind the scenes.

“I kind of went through this down period of, ‘I hate my life, I’m collecting a paycheck. I’m just hoping someday I can get back to who I am and the performer that I am.’ I as soon as I started to feel like I was myself again, I tore my meniscus.”
