Chris Jericho Ends Longstanding Feud With Rock Legend

Chris Jericho has put an unlikely feud to rest.

Jericho’s relationship with Skid Row’s Sebastian Bach soured in 2020 after Bach accused him of lip-synching his songs while performing with FOZZY. Jericho later said he would be happy to prove his vocal abilities with a sing-off and claimed to be a better singer than Bach.

The pair were still at odds when Bach spoke with Paul Travers of Metal Hammer, where Bach took another dig at Jericho’s (lack of) vocal talent.

“The better question would be, will he do a wrestle-off with Sebastian Bach? Because I’m as much of a wrestler as he is a singer,” Sebastian Bach said.

However, that feud appears to have finally ended, as SiriusXM DJ Eddie Trunk recently said the pair have made up. Trunk is friends with both Jericho and Bach, and said that he got the real story from both of his friends when they each performed at the KISS Kruise: Landlocked In Vegas event over the weekend.

The beef between Chris Jericho and Sebastian Bach has been squashed

“There was a lot of chatter because as you know there has been, Sebastian over the years has said some stuff about Jericho,” Trunk explained (h/t Web Is Jericho). “And there is a huge beef there between those two, because of these things Sebastian said and alleged about Chris. Again, I don’t get in the middle of this stuff. Life’s too short, I don’t have the time for drama and craziness. But there was people talking about this because they were on the same night back-to-back, close quarters, dressing room’s next to each other. Was there gonna be a confrontation? Is Baz gonna say something about Chris on stage? Is Chris gonna say something about Baz? What’s gonna happen?”

Trunk said that he predicted the pair would make up since they would be in the same room, and that’s exactly what happened. He noted that it was a little more involved than that, but Jericho and Bach are finally on the same page.

“I watched from afar as Chris and Sebastian worked this out. And then Sebastian said to me, ‘Hey dude, Chris and I are cool now,’ cause they used to come on my show together. They were great together. He goes, ‘We can do your show together again now man, we’re all good.’ But then Chris was like not so sure. But then later Chris spent a lot of time talking to Sebastian, and then at the end of the night, I said to Chris, ‘Where are you at (with the feud)?’ And he goes, ‘No, we’re good.’ I said, ‘OK, good.’ So I’m happy to report the Bach/Jericho beef as of Saturday night has been laid to rest and retired.”
