Former NXT Champion Teases Return To TNA

A former WWE NXT Superstar has teased his return to TNA.

This past Thursday’s episode of TNA Wrestling featured a segment between The System and The Rascalz. After Trey Miguel challenged The System to a match, Moose said they’d be happy to accept, but the odds were stacked heavily against The Rascalz.

Zachary Wentz took the mic and referenced a “certain kid that lives around the westside block” as the fourth member of The Rascalz, teasing the return of former NXT star Wes Lee (aka Dezmond Xavier) to TNA Wrestling.

Dezmond Xavier took to social media to react to the announcement. The former NXT North American Champion posted a brief caption — “Home” — alongside the graphic promoting The Rascalz vs. The System at Turning Point.

Wes Lee was part of the WWE NXT roster cuts that shook the brand in October. He was paired with Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe as High Ryze before his release from the company. Lee held the longest NXT North American Championship reign until Oba Femi broke the record. He previously held the brand’s tag team titles with Nash Carter (aka Wentz).

Wes Lee last competed in a TNA ring at Sacrifice 2025, when High Ryze faced Ace Austin and The Rascalz in a Lucha Rules match.
