Nick Khan Defends WWE Decision To Raise Ticket Prices

Nick Khan says WWE ticket prices have increased appropriately in line with the marketplace.

During a recent appearance on the TKO 2025 Third Quarter Financials Call, Khan was asked about the persistent rise in WWE ticket prices and whether it was being driven more by pricing than by capacity.

“It’s both,” he said. “Capacity continues to be very high. We’ve increased prices appropriately with the marketplace. That’s for the PLEs, Raw, SmackDown, Saturday Night’s Main Event, and every other ticketed program that WWE has. We remain bullish on it.

“A couple of years ago when TKO was put up, one of the first things we collectively did was reduce the non-televised live events, which created more scarcity in the marketplace for our televised events and our continued international expansion only furthered that.

“In January, you’ll see us on a European tour for Raw and SmackDown, leading into Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia. Tickets (are) already on fire for that event and it creates more scarcity in the United States, which is a good thing in terms of our overall gauge.” [H/T: Fightful]

Nick Khan is not the only official defending WWE’s decision to raise ticket prices. TKO’s Mark Shapiro previously said the company has seen tremendous upside in ticket pricing and is working to maximize ticket revenue.

Former WWE stars criticize the current business model

However, former WWE stars such as MVP and Maven believe the company is pricing out longtime fans with its current business model. Maven also credited Vince McMahon for keeping WWE shows affordable for families during a recent interview with TMZ.

“I feel like they’re pricing out loyal fans, and a lot of people believe that as well. It’s one of the things that angers me the most. I wish- You can say what you want about Vince McMahon. Vince knew that the everyday family was where his bread was buttered. He knew that in order to create generational fans… He was going to have to make his product accessible, accessible on a weekly basis, accessible on a monthly basis at an affordable rate.”
