There appears to be a change in venues for the early January tapings of WWE RAW and SmackDown.
WWE’s flagship show, RAW, airs every Monday on Netflix around the world, while SmackDown broadcasts on the USA Network locally on Fridays, with Netflix carrying the international streaming rights.
According to an update, the January 2, 2026 episode of SmackDown, originally scheduled for Brooklyn, is now taking place in Buffalo. Meanwhile, the January 5, 2026 episode of RAW, originally set for Buffalo, will now take place in Brooklyn.
This is a recent change, as the original dates were still being advertised late last week.
Fans who purchased tickets for the RAW taping and are seeking refunds will receive an email from Ticketmaster with updated information, according to the official X account of KeyBank Center.
“DATE CHANGE: WWE Monday Night RAW, which was slated to take place on Jan 5, is now set to be Friday Night SmackDown on Jan 2,” per the announcement.
