Kelani Jordan shocked everyone on WWE NXT by turning heel to keep her TNA Knockouts World Championship.
The main event of the WWE NXT featured Jordan defending her title against Jordynne Grace. For weeks, she had been showing a meaner and more aggressive attitude, teasing a heel turn. This time, she finally crossed the line.
Jordan’s growing tension with the NXT women’s locker room had already been building. After siding with TNA talent in recent weeks, she was kicked out of the locker room and forced to prepare for her matches elsewhere.
Jordynne Grace even tried to help her at one point, but Jordan rejected the offer, leading to Grace slapping her backstage at WWE NXT Halloween Havoc. Their heated confrontation led to a TNA Knockouts World title match on this week’s WWE NXT.
Their title match this week ended in chaos when Trick Williams and Ricky Saints, who had been fighting throughout in the night, brawled at ringside during the match. The referee got distracted trying to break them up and Jordan took advantage of the moment.
Kelani Jordan grabbed the TNA Knockouts championship title and hit Grace’s face with it. She quickly pinned her and the referee counted the three, giving Jordan the win to retain her title. Jordan’s actions made it clear she’s no longer holding back, officially marking her heel turn on WWE NXT.
