Two missing WWE RAW Superstars stood out like a sore thumb last night during the battle royal to determine CM Punk’s opponent at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
In the main event of last night’s episode of WWE RAW, a battle royal was held to determine who would face CM Punk at Saturday Night’s Main Event to crown a new World Heavyweight Champion. While Kofi Kingston and Ivar took part in the matchup. However, their respective tag team partners, Xavier Woods and Erik, were nowhere to be seen.
In regards to their absence, Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that both Woods and Erik had scheduled time off this week. This is why neither man was present this week on WWE RAW.
Xavier Woods is on vacation in Italy
While we aren’t certain what Erik is doing with his time off, we do know, thanks to Woods’ use of social media, that he’s currently on vacation in Italy.
Despite being on vacation, Woods couldn’t resist taking to social media to express his displeasure over AJ Styles and Dragon Lee (who he’s referring to as “AJ Lee”) defeating The Judgment Day for the WWE Tag Team Titles, tweeting out:
“Literally zero lies told. Yall somehow fell in love with moments over logic and made us out to be the bad guys. Insane… so glad im in Italy right now #ThankGodForTheNewDay,” Xavier Woods said in a post.
