New look, who this? (It’s Pac)
At AEW All Out, fans got their first look at a new version of Pac when he returned to help Jon Moxley beat Darby Allin a Coffin Match. The former International Champion arrived to the pay-per-view with shorter hair, a contrast from the long, wet locks he routinely donned in the past. Now on AEW Dynamite, Pac revamped his look once more.
In the main event of AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday, Pac battled Orange Cassidy, another former International Champion. Instead of competing in his usual wrestling trunks, Pac sported a black singlet and long pants. AEW commentator Excalibur also noted that the Death Riders member was looking “incredibly crisp” since returning from an injury.
Despite his new look and smooth in-ring display, Pac ultimately fell short in this match as Cassidy rolled him up for the victory. Afterward, Darby Allin blinded Pac with a foreign spray, then attempted, but failed, to potentially blow up the rest of the Death Riders with a Molotov cocktail.
Prior to this week’s Dynamite, Pac last wrestled against Swerve Strickland in April. During that match, he appeared to sustain a leg injury that later kept him out of action for five months.
Looking ahead, Death Riders leader Jon Moxley will face Darby Allin in an I Quit match at AEW WrestleDream on September 18. As of now, it is unclear if Pac will have a match of his own added to the card.
