Tessa Blanchard Returns To CMLL Mexico

Tessa Blanchard is back in CMLL and she will be competing in the ring in the near future.

Blanchard, who made her return to TNA earlier this year, appeared on the October 1 episode of CMLL Informa. There, it was confirmed that Blanchard will compete for CMLL on October 10. Despite confirming she would compete, her opponent was not announced at the time.

It was also noted that Tessa Blanchard remains under contract with TNA Wrestling. However, her contract also allows her to still compete in CMLL. It’s unclear how TNA and CMLL came to an agreement, as Blanchard previously indicated that she could not do both.

Blanchard last competed for CMLL in November 2024, taking a loss to Persephone, who will now face Mercedes Moné for the CMLL Women’s World Championship on October 17. Tessa returned to TNA earlier this year, but has not been featured much as of late. Blanchard was taken off of TNA programming due to a storyline suspension (her second this year) for attacking Gia Miller. However, TNA recently lifted the suspension, but Blanchard has not competed for TNA since losing to Indi Hartwell at Slammiversary.
