A former AEW star has finally returned to active in-ring competition after a two-year hiatus.
Allie, also known as The Bunny, made her shocking return to the squared circle at an independent wrestling event over the weekend.
The Bunny was revealed as Penelope Ford’s mystery tag team partner at Mystery Wrestling 18, where they faced The Hex (Allison Kay & Marti Belle).
This was Allie’s first match since September 2023. It was previously reported that The Bunny and AEW had mutually agreed to part ways, and she was subsequently removed from their website roster on November 9, 2023.
Allie took a break from pro wrestling in June 2024 before appearing at TNA Border Brawl in May 2025, though that appearance did not include in-ring competition. Earlier this month, she informed fans about her plans for the future in a social media update. It remains to be seen what’s next for the real-life Laura Dennis in the world of pro wrestling.
