Matt Hardy Comments on Andrade’s Unexpected WWE Release

Last week, one of the shocking news stories was the fact that former NXT World Champion Andrade was quietly let go from WWE. Former WWE Superstar and multiple-time Tag Team Champion Matt Hardy shared his thoughts on the release.

While speaking on the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Hardy shared that he liked Andrade and then shared his thoughts about the release.

“I’m going to start off by saying I like Andrade a lot. I got along very well with him. I worked with him first in WWE on the main roster. I know we worked a few times in South America. Whenever we did a South American tour, I really enjoyed them. Obviously, at AEW, I was paired with him. He kind of came in and joined the Hardy family office, and we made it into a conglomerate. We just joined together, and it was a little over saturated. It was a little much, and I think we both realized that kind of going in, but it is what it is.”[H/T WrestlingNews.co]

Matt Hardy wishes Andrade the best, hopes he is healthy and in a good place

Matt Hardy also shared that he believes Andrade is happy that he is no longer in WWE. While Hardy does not know all the details about the release. Hardy hopes Andrade is healthy and he stays in a good place.

“He seems to be happy that he is no longer with WWE. I do not know all the exact circumstances. I don’t know the cold, hard facts, the cold, hard truth of whatever else. But there seem to be a lot of signs throughout his being ultimately released. So all I’m going to say is that I hope he’s well, I hope he’s good, I hope he’s healthy, and I hope he’s in a good place, and I wish him all the best going forward,” Matt Hardy said.

It is also being reported that WWE had buyer’s remorse with Andrade.
