Raja Jackson Arrested Over Syko Stu Beatdown

Raja Jackson has been put behind bars following his notorious beatdown of Syko Stu.

According to TMZ, the son of Rampage Jackson was arrested on Thursday on felony charges. At the time of this writing, Jackson was being held on a $50,000 bond.

Previous reports stated that Raja Jackson was being investigated for assaulting independent wrestler Syko Stu (real name Stuart Smith). Jackson allegedly slammed Stu to the mat before punching him repeatedly while he was unconscious at a KnokX Pro event weeks ago.

Smith’s family revealed that he suffered multiple injuries, including a fractured maxilla bone, as a result of the assault. His medical expenses were covered through a GoFundMe campaign. Smith spent some time in a local medical facility before being discharged to recover at home.

Fellow KnokX Pro wrestler AJ Mana, who was caught encouraging Jackson to retaliate against Stu over a previous confrontation, revealed he was fired from his job for instigating violence in the workplace.

Wrestlers react to Raja Jackson incident

Many pro wrestlers, past and present, have weighed in on the controversy. WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry said Syko Stu was partially to blame for the incident. Henry later doubled down on his comment, stating he did not have to apologize for what he said.

Wrestling legend Ric Flair argued that Jackson went too far, adding that he tried to call Rampage Jackson after the incident but received no response. Flair also said that no one could be entirely sure what happened without being present at the scene.

Rob Van Dam also commented, saying he believed Jackson did not intend to commit murder but acknowledged that he took things too far. His remarks drew backlash from the internet wrestling community, but RVD said he would not apologize.
