Former WWE Star Worked ROH Taping This Week

A former WWE star may have found a new home in Ring of Honor.

Former WWE star Kayden Carter, also known as Lacey Lane, reportedly worked an ROH taping before Dynamite’s live broadcast in Philadelphia this past Wednesday. While her opponent remains unknown, the match is expected to air in a future ROH episode on HonorClub.

Lane has previously expressed interest in competing for Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling, calling the promotion her “speed.”

For those unaware, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance rose to prominence in NXT, where they held the brand’s Women’s Tag Team Championship for more than 18 days. Their main roster run included a 39-day reign as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Carter was released as part of WWE’s budget cuts in May, with her 90-day non-compete clause expiring on August 1, 2025. Fans will now have to wait and see if AEW/ROH officially becomes her new home.
