WWE Superstar Stephanie Vaquer updates fans on injury reports
Vaquer is preparing for her first major match on the WWE main roster. She was set to challenge Naomi for the Women’s World Championship at Clash in Paris, but last month Naomi gave up the title due to pregnancy.
WWE then announced that Stephanie Vaquer will face former Womens’ Champion Iyo Sky for the vacant championship at WWE Wrestlepalooza in Indianapolis, Indiana. With the match just days away, reports surfaced claiming Vaquer had a minor injury.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio revealed that WWE officials said Stephanie Vaquer is dealing with an minor injury and she would return to action soon. However, Bryan Alvarez said he heard that Vaquer actually had no injury.
Now, the number one contender for the WWE Women’s Championship has denied the reports of an injury. Speaking on Adrian Hernandez on Unlikely, she confirmed that the rumors were false. She said, “No. I saw on social media sometimes, many things like not real. No injuries. I’m ready. I’m ready for RAW next Monday. So, no injuries.”
With Vaquer denying the reports, it appears she has no injury and is fully prepare to face Iyo Sky at WWE Wrestlepalooza for the Women’s Championship.
