Huge Match Confirmed for WWE Wrestlepalooza 2025

WWE Wrestlepalooza is set for September 20 in Indianapolis, Indiana, and the first match is now official.

The show will be WWE’s first premium live event on ESPN in U.S, starting their partnership earlier than expected. The vacant Women’s World Championship, left undecided for weeks, will finally be on the line. The number one contender Stephanie Vaquer is set to compete for the title.

A few weeks ago on RAW, Naomi revealed she was pregnant and gave up the Women’s World title. She was originally supposed to defend it against Iyo Sky with Stephanie Vaquer facing the winner at Clash in Paris.

Following Naomi stepped away, RAW general manager Adam Pearce told Stephanie Vaquer she was removed from the Clash in Paris card. However, he assured her she would still get a future title match.

On RAW this week, Adam Pearce confirmed that Stephanie Vaquer and Iyo Sky will clash for the vacant WWE Women’s World Championship at Wrestlepalooza, WWE’s first big event under the ESPN deal.

While the ESPN deal covers only fans in the U.S., international fans can still watch all premium live events on Netflix. With the first major match for WWE Wrestlepalooza now confirmed.

Reports suggest that the company has already planned two major bouts for the show: John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar and a WWE Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre, which are expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
