The Young Bucks will never shy away from controversy. If anything, they’ll double down on it.
At AEW Forbidden Door, the Young Bucks demanded that the production crew fill a bag with some of the most dangerous weapons they could find and store it under the ring so they could use it in their match.
When it came time to use the bag, it turned out to be gummy bears. This is a throwback to Matt and Nick’s time in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. While many found the spot to be entertaining, other people, like WWE’s Booker T, took it as another opportunity to take shots at the promotion while admitting they never watched a complete episode of the product.
It’s very likely that Matt and Nick Jackson saw the reaction from the spot from people like Booker T and decided to double down on it with their latest piece of AEW merchandise.
ShopAEW took to social media this afternoon to reveal the latest Young Bucks t-shirt, which features Matt and Nick Jackson as gummy bears, tweeting out:
