Fans were concerned for CM Punk following WWE RAW.
During RAW, CM Punk and AJ Lee appeared in a segment with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch. In the segment, Rollins accepted Lee’s challenge for a mixed tag team match at WWE WrestlePalooza.
After the segment, a fan video went viral showing CM Punk leaving the ring and hitting his back on the apron before walking out. While, Punk walked out of the arena with AJ Lee looking fine. However, the fans feared he might have injured himself after the awkward landing.
PWInsider reported that there is no indication CM Punk was injured during the spot. Sources confirmed that the online rumors about his injury were false. The reports states, “In asking around today, we are told no one heard anything about Punk being hurt and everyone dismissed it as one of those stories that spread online but have no bearing in fact.”
The fans can relax as The Best in the World is completely fine. He will be ready for his WWE WrestlePalooza match with AJ Lee against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.
