Stephanie Vaquer Returns To WWE TV, Rhea Ripley Appears On NXT

Several WWE main roster stars appeared on NXT this week.

This started with Carmelo Hayes, who returned during a segment with DIY and Trick Williams. Williams interrupted DIY, claiming he wasn’t alone as Hayes came out to confront DIY. However, Hayes reminded Williams of their history.

Tommaso Ciampa jumped in, calling it a big and little brother fight. But Hayes and Williams quickly got on the same page. Hayes also reminded DIY of past betrayals, teasing a major tag match. Johnny Gargano noted that fans want to see two generations of NXT face off at next week’s homecoming at Full Sail as the biggest tag match in NXT history.

The night didn’t end there. In the main event, The Culling’s Tatum Paxley and Izzi Dame defeated ZaRuca and Fatal Influence to earn the number one contender spot for the women’s tag titles.

Upset by the loss, NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne called out her teammates. She blamed Jazmyn and Fallon, insisting she doesn’t need anyone’s help or applause. She declared herself the greatest NXT Women’s Champion of all time. She reminded fans of her TNA Knockouts World Championship win.

Following her bold claim, former NXT Champion Stephanie Vaquer and Tiffany Stratton came out to confront her. Jacy called them super seniors trying to relive their past, and Stratton fired back, saying she didn’t know how Mami would feel being called a super senior.

Rhea Ripley then appeared to a huge ovation, challenging Jacy’s claim and stating that she, Stratton, and Vaquer would take on Fatal Influence next week as WWE NXT returns to Full Sail. Following the appertaining of major star from the main roster.

Next week, huge matches are confirmed for NXT at Full Sail, including Rhea Ripley, Tiffany Stratton, and Stephanie Vaquer vs. Fatal Influence. And DIY facing Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes.
