Will Ospreay was written off AEW programming at Forbidden Door, and we now have an update on what’s next for the talented performer.
Days before AEW Forbidden Door, Ospreay teased in a promo on Dynamite that he would be going under the knife to have neck surgery to repair some herniated discs pushing against my spinal cord. We now have an update on what’s next for the Aerial Assassin.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Will Ospreay is scheduled for neck surgery in a few weeks.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select) confirmed this report and stated the surgery will take place within the next two weeks.
Ospreay’s surgery is hot off the heels of Swerve Strickland undergoing surgery late last month to repair a torn meniscus. An injury he’s been dealing with since 2019.
On behalf of everyone here at WrestleZone, we wish Ospreay a quick and painless recovery.
