Jamie Hayter made her long-awaited return at AEW Forbidden Door 2025.
On the AEW Forbidden Door Zero Hour pre-show, the team of Megan Bayne and Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Skye Blue, and Julia Hart) defeated Queen Aminata, Harley Cameron, Willow Nightingale, and Kris Statlander.
During the match, Aminata and Thekla brawled at ringside and eventually fought their way backstage. The chaos didn’t end there. Later in the show, Queen Aminata and Thekla brought their fight back to ringside.
Queen Aminata was then blindsided by Skye Blue and Julia Hart, as the Triangle of Madness prepared to deliver more punishment. Just as the numbers overwhelmed Aminata, Jamie Hayter’s music hit.
The O2 Arena erupted as Jamie Hayter ran to the ring and took out Blue and Hart. Thekla was pulled by her partners away, retreating up the ramp. Hayter then helped Aminata back to her feet, standing tall to end the segment.
Backstage reports on Jamie Hayter’s AEW Forbidden Door return
Jamie Hayter, who returned at AEW Forbidden Door, last appeared at AEW Double or Nothing, where she lost to Mercedes Moné in the Owen Hart Cup finals. A few days later, Thekla attacked her during her Dynamite debut, which wrote Hayter off TV.
Hayter remained off AEW programming for nearly three months. After her return, Fightful Select reported that AEW had always planned for her to feud with Thekla. Her comeback took longer than expected because she suffered an disclosed injury.
The former AEW Women’s Champion initially believed she wasn’t hurt, but she later failed to get cleared. AEW moved up Thekla’s debut as Jamie Hayter was sidelined, allowing her to participate in the angle that wrote Hayter off TV.
The officials also praised Hayter for working through the spot with Thekla that set up her absence. The plan has always been for Hayter and Thekla to feud once Hayter returned to action. Now that Hayter is back in action, she has made it clear that she is back for Thekla.
