Red Band Trailer Released For John Cena’s Peacemaker Season 2

If you want to hear John Cena drop a bunch of curse words while kicking all kinds of ass, today is your lucky day.

This afternoon, DC dropped the first Red Band trailer for Peacemaker season 2. The trailer was introduced by James Gunn and WWE Superstar John Cena, who portrays the role of Christopher Smith, otherwise known as Peacemaker.

While most of the first season is canon to the new DCU, this is officially the third project of the DC Studios slate of content. Hot off the heels of Superman and the animated television show, Creature Commandos.

Cena briefly appeared in Superman as Peacemaker in a quick cameo. The show is expected the follow the events of that movie, which will release on digital Friday, August 15.
