A former MLW Champion was backstage at AEW Collision this weekend, and it was revealed by a very unlikely source.
Back in May, former MLW World Women’s Featherweight Champion Janai Kai announced that she was departing the company. She was one of the most dominant women in the history of the company, so to see her leaving came as quite a shock to many.
On the latest episode of “Speedball” Mike Bailey’s vlog, the All Elite Wrestling star is seen backstage at Collision this weekend with Janai Kai.

Saturday’s episode of Collision took place in Roanoke, Virginia. Kai is from the Washington, DC area, so it wouldn’t have been much of a drive to be backstage at the show.
It’s unknown if this is a sign that Kai will be joining AEW in the near future or if she was just backstage visiting friends.
