Bray Wyatt and the Firefly Fun House will have a huge presence at this year’s Universal Halloween Horror Nights festival. That presence also comes with a huge budget, something that wasn’t always available for the gimmick in WWE.
In July, Universal Studios announced that a Wyatt Sicks experience is coming to its Halloween Horror Nights celebration. WWE Presents: The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks will launch at Universal Orlando Resort on Friday, August 29. This will be followed by one at Universal Studios Hollywood on Thursday, September 4.
What is The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks about?
“Horror fans brave enough to travel through the light of the lantern will find themselves transported into the maniacal minds of The Wyatt Sicks, where each member reigns supreme within their own horrific domains,” Universal’s official synopsis reads. “There, Uncle Howdy, together with Ramblin Rabbit, Mercy the Buzzard, Abby the Witch and Huskus the Pig will be waiting to take bloody retribution on a world that has abandoned them. Along the way, guests will be stalked by the eerie presence of The Fiend, Bray’s sadistic alter ego, who looms within the shadows and beckons them to let him in.”
Bray Wyatt’s Firefly Fun House has come a long way since it debuted
More details have continued to be revealed, including the inclusion of a new Wyatt-themed food offering. A fan shared a new photo of the upcoming Firefly Fun House food booth. This was a source of irony for makeup effects artist and director Jason Baker.
Baker’s work includes creating masks for Bray Wyatt, Asuka and Jacob Fatu. He also directed the original episodes of Firefly Fun House and revealed how small the original budget was.
“I find this ironic because when I built this set and directed the original episodes our budget was so small that we didn’t have catering,” Baker wrote on Twitter/X. “@Windham6 being Windham bought snacks and drinks for everyone out of his own pocket.”
