Could Karrion Kross be staying in WWE?
Recent reports indicated that the WWE contracts of Karrion Kross and Scarlett were set to expire this weekend, and as of Monday, with no new deals on the table. Wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer has since provided an update, noting that the latter is no longer the case.
“I was told that the story about him not being signed to a contract, I heard that that is legit but that he did get an offer,” Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio. “The story that he didn’t get an offer — and maybe when the story that he didn’t get an offer was written it was accurate, but I was told he’s gotten an offer. I don’t expect him going anywhere.”
Kross, a former NXT Champion, has enjoyed increased popularity in recent months, with the WWE Universe routinely chanting “We Want Kross” at televised events. At WWE SummerSlam, Kross took a loss to Sami Zayn. Still, the live audience at MetLife Stadium continued to cheer for him during the SummerSlam post shows.
As of now, there is no word on if Kross has accepted his reportedly new contract offer from WWE. Some fans believe WWE already tipped their hat in regards to Kross returning during SummerSlam. He and Scarlett came back to WWE in August 2022 as Kross entered a feud with former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. Later, he led the Final Testament alongside the Authors of Pain and Paul Ellering, who were eventually released from WWE in February 2025.
