Vince McMahon, Kid Rock, and Other Major Names Attend Hulk Hogan’s Funeral

Multiple big names gathered to say goodbye to WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan.

Hulk Hogan’s funeral took place this week, shortly after he passed away on July 24 at the age of 71. Reports confirmed that Hogan died from an acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack.

According to PWInsider and The New York Post, the funeral happened on Tuesday, August 5, in Largo, Florida. Several well-known people attended the service, including musician Kid Rock, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, his wife Stephanie McMahon, and popular podcaster Theo Von. Former WWE CEO Vince McMahon, wrestling legend Ric Flair, and basketball star Dennis Rodman were also there. Hogan’s ex-wife, Linda Hogan, at the service.

Ric Flair also commented on the funeral, writing the following on Twitter/X:

Triple H spoke on The Sports Agents ahead of WWE SummerSlam and shared his thoughts on Hulk Hogan. The Game praised Hogan’s impact on the wrestling industry, calling his contributions unmatched. He said, “His contributions as a performer to this industry are second to none.

When asked about working with Hogan, Triple H said he could only speak from his personal experience. “Look, with anybody that’s going to have criticisms of people and I can’t state the human being aspects at all of his life. I can only talk about how he treated me, really. And he was always great to me. He was very business-minded. He was steadfast in his beliefs of business, but was professional and easy to work with and a great person to be around.”

“For me personally, for how he dealt with me, I don’t have anything negative to say. I understand for a lot of people it’s complicated, but that does not take away from his contributions to an industry.”
