R-Truth Tries To Re-Join The Judgment Day

R-Truth still misses his Judgment Day stablemates… well, most of them.

WWE media day took place on Friday morning in New Jersey. Several WWE Superstars appeared to speak with the press during the session, including WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. R-Truth was also nearby, and he did a run-in during an interview between the champs and Sports Illustrated’s Rick Ucchino.

R-Truth inquired about getting back in the Judgment Day, and the following exchange unfolded as a result.

Raquel: [Roxanne] can talk to Finn. She knows Finn really well.

Truth: JD’s still there?

Raquel: Yeah, JD’s still there. I know, I know [she looked at Truth looking sad… it’s his head, isn’t it?

Truth: DP ain’t there. Rhea ain’t there.

Raquel: We don’t need Rhea!

Roxanne: We don’t need them! We’re better than Rhea!

R-Truth also asked about Tom and Nick Mysterio’s status. The champions weren’t sure who he was talking about, which led to Truth’s swift exit.

Truth: Is Nick there?

Raquel: Look, this is … Nick?

Truth: Y’all met Nick?

Raquel: Who’s Nick?

Truth: See, all y’all are in on it together…

R-Truth was released by WWE in June, a move that shocked the wrestling world. However, he was re-signed very quickly, largely due to the uproar from fans and peers disagreeing with the move. He made his surprise return at WWE Money In The Bank days later, running in during the John Cena and Logan Paul vs. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso match.

Truth, now adopting the name “Ron Killings,” went on to face Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event, and picked up a win via disqualification over Cena on the June 20 episode of SmackDown. Truth has been part of the blue brand since then, with his last TV match coming against Aleister Black on July 11.
