MJF’s time with The Hurt Syndicate has officially come to an end.
During Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF tried to downplay what happened last week in a backstage segment. He knocked on the door for the group but was met with Shelton Benjamin. After trying to apologize for what happened, Benjamin told MJF that MVP wasn’t around.
As for why, it’s because he was “disgusted” by MJF. Bobby Lashley also wasn’t on hand, and then Benjamin revealed the truth to MJF. He took out the watch MJF gave him, declaring he knew it was a fake, like MJF, the whole time. The only reason MJF got to stick around, Shelton said, is cause he stuck his neck out for him.
Now though, that is over. Benjamin said the group had always been onto him, and that it was time for MJF to get away, and that he was fully out of the group.
