Michael Cole Reveals What Else He’s Watching During WWE RAW

Michael Cole may be locked in during episodes of WWE RAW, but he also has his eyes focused elsewhere.

During a recent interview with MLB’s New York Mets as part of their Meet at the Apple show, Cole revealed that during episodes of RAW, he’ll sometimes have his phone on with the Mets playing.

“Tonight during Monday Night RAW, I’ll have my phone on the desk and I’ll have the game on with the sound down,” Cole said. “And I’ll be glancing over and you’ll see me sometimes pumping my fists when Soto hits a home run or something. And I’m doing that when I’m on the air.”

Cole joked that people think he’s “nuts” for sitting and watching a nine inning baseball game every night. He went on to note that his former co-commentator Pat McAfee would thinks he was “insane” for watching every game of the year. However, Cole said that baseball was his “first love,” so it seems like the desire to watch isn’t going anywhere.

Cole was born in Syracuse, New York, so his Mets fandom isn’t too shocking. Cole spent most of his upbringing in New York, attending Syracuse University to study broadcast journalism.
