Currently, The Judgment Day is holding all the championship gold. All their titles are in jeopardy with brand new challengers coming their way in the upcoming weeks on Raw and at the biggest event of the Summer, SummerSlam.
On last night’s Monday Night Raw, multiple matches for next week’s SummerSlam Premium Live Event were made official. This included the Intercontinental Championship match between the champion, Judgment Day member Dominik Mysterio, and challenger AJ Styles.
Last night on Raw, finally, following a check-up with WWE’s Medical Team, it was announced that Mysterio was cleared to compete. Thus, his match against Styles was made official. Adding to that, the next challengers for The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh were determined as well.
During a commercial break, Judgment Day was interviewed by Byron Saxton. During the interview, Finn Balor dedicated the night to their injured comrade, Liv Morgan.
“We are missing one special person. So, Liv Morgan, tonight is dedicated to you,” Finn Balor said.
Following that, JD McDonagh took the microphone and sent a warning to the new number one contenders for the WWE World Tag Team Titles, the Latino World Order.
“LWO, you boys think you are ready to face the Judgement Day next week? We saw you out here celebrating like you won the Super Bowl. Boys, until you beat the Judgement Day, you didn’t beat anybody,” JD McDonagh said.
Rodriguez and Perez had successfully defended the tag titles against Bayley and Valkyria on Raw. During the in-commercial interview, Raquel Rodriguez sent a message to her SummerSlam opponents, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss claiming that the duo will end up losing the match just like Bayley and Valkyria.
“Charlotte [Flair], Alexa [Bliss], I hope you are comfy at home watching what happened tonight. Because that is what’s going to happen to you at SummerSlam,” Raquel Rodriguez said.
Following Rodriguez, Dominik Mysterio tried to send a message to his SummerSlam opponent, AJ Styles. But the crowd continued to boo him, and thus he could hardly get out five words. Roxanne Perez then took the microphone and spoke on behalf of Mysterio. She claimed that after SummerSlam, it would be AJ Styles who would need a doctor.
“What Dom was trying to say, is AJ Styles, at SummerSlam, you are the one that is going to need a doctor,” Roxanne Perez said.
