TNA Sets All-Time Attendance Record At Slammiversary

TNA set a new record with its Slammiversary pay-per-view on Sunday night.

Slammiversary was full of memorable moments, including AJ Styles’ return to the company. The show took place at the UBS Arena on Long Island. This is a huge arena that is much larger than the venues that the promotion normally runs. The event was a success from an attendance standpoint. The company set a new personal-best record for highest attendance in the promotion’s 20-plus-year history.

7,326 fans were credited as attending Slammiversary on Sunday night. This beats the previous record that saw 7,200 fans attend Lockdown 2013 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. That show featured a main event between Bully Ray and Jeff Hardy in a steel cage match for the World Heavyweight Championship.

TNA reacts to a record-setting night

The promotion issued a press release, reacting to the new record set on Sunday night:

“The 2025 Slammiversary live event – held Sunday, July 20, at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York – was record-breaking for TNA Wrestling, as the crowd of 7,623 was the most-ever at a TNA show in North America in the company’s 23-year history.

The new TNA attendance record surpasses the former record, set in 2013. TNA announcer Tom Hannifan made the record-setting announcement during the live broadcast of Slammiversary.

“This company has worked tirelessly since last December when it was announced that Slammiversary would be held at the UBS Arena,” said TNA Wrestling President Carlos Silva. “To see a record-setting crowd at the UBS Arena was a milestone moment for TNA Wrestling that no one will ever forget.”
