Report: Top AEW Star Taking Time Off

According to a new report, AEW star Will Ospreay is set to take some time off.

Following his appearances at AEW All In: Texas, which featured some big moments, Ospreay is ready for a break. According to a Fightful Select report from Sean Ross Sapp, Ospreay was “banged up” after the workload he had over the weekend.

As a result, the report notes, Ospreay is “expected to take some time off.” While the exact timeline for his return is unknown, the report says it’s expected he’ll miss about a month. Ospreay was one of several stars who had a busy weekend at All In, so his absence for the next few weeks isn’t too surprising.

During All In: Texas, Ospreay teamed up with Swerve Strickland to defeat The Young Bucks. This win stripped the Bucks of their EVP titles. Later in the night, Ospreay would once again appear, this time joining the chaos of the Texas Death Match main event.

During the main event, Ospreay got involved to help “Hangman” Adam Page, getting into it with the Death Riders. In the process, he was eventually stretchered out by the group.
