Charlotte Flair brought a very special guest to WWE Evolution 2.
Former 14-time world champion Charlotte Flair was part of Evolution this past Sunday. Flair teamed with Alexa Bliss to challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship in a fatal four-way tag team match.
However, the SmackDown duo failed to capture the title from Judgement Day’s Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. Despite the loss, Flair was still proud of the night for a heartwarming reason.
Taking to social media, Charlotte revealed she brought her 93-year-old grandmother to watch The Queen compete live at the PLE. Flair also noted that this was her grandmother’s second event ever.
“My 93 yr old Grandmommy made it to EVOLUTION. ??? (her 2nd show)!,” she wrote.
Alexa Bliss Opens Up About Her Special Bond With Charlotte Flair
Charlotte Flair may have reluctantly joined forces with Alexa Bliss, but that doesn’t mean The Goddess doesn’t enjoy working with The Queen.
During an appearance on The Nikki & Brie Show, Bliss commented on her relationship with Flair, noting the duo has always worked well together going back to their NXT days.
Yeah. I like working with Charlotte. We’ve always had just this fun dynamic with each other. We always work really well together, and we’ve always had this, like, weird bond from NXT that we just always kind of gravitate towards each other when it comes to working with each other, and it’s just so fun.”
Fans will have to wait what’s next for this partnership when WWE SmackDown airs live this Friday.
