The Original Tribal Chief is back, with a new name and the same mission, with Roman Reigns returning tonight.
During the close to Monday’s WWE RAW, after CM Punk had beat Bron Breakker to earn a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at SummerSlam, chaos broke out. After Jey Uso came out to help Punk, he and Punk were ambushed by Bronson Reed and Breakker.
As the pair got to work attacking Punk and Uso, things seemed prime for a massive Tsunami by Reed. That’s when Roman Reigns’ music hit and the crowd went absolutely wild. Reigns walked down to the ring and promptly saved the day, throwing out both Breakker and Reed. He then helped Jey to his feet and watched as Punk got up.
The trio then all turned their attention to the now Seth Rollins-less group of Paul Heyman, Reed, and Breakker. Online, WWE also teased the return of Reigns, who they called “OTC1.” It’s unclear what the future holds for Reigns now, though.
