Trish Stratus Teases How Long Her WWE In-Ring Return Will Last

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus looked back on her emotional return at Evolution 2, marking another memorable chapter in her legendary career.

Evolution marked Stratus’ third match this year, following the Women’s Royal Rumble and teaming with Tiffany Stratton at Elimination Chamber. Speaking at the post-show press conference following WWE Evolution 2, Trish Stratus opened up about her emotional return.

“I want to make sure I still got it. I don’t want to go out there and give my 60%. I want to give 100% every time. So I think I do it for you guys. That’s what it is, I had that thought: ‘Is this the last time I could be in a moment like this?’ The WWE Universe has been so wonderful and supportive. I just feel so blessed to be able to dip my toes into the waters of the current landscape.”

“Like how lucky I am. It’s been 20 years. 2005 feels like right now. What the heck? It’s never lost on me how lucky I am not only to be here, but to know that we built this. Me, Ivory, Jackie, Lita, Mickie… the girls you saw in the audience. We built the foundation that today’s women built the skyscraper on. Now, I get to come back and dip into that skyscraper. I just feel blessed. And I always worry, ‘Can I still hang with them?’ I watch the girls and go, ‘That’s what I do.’ Then I think, okay, I wonder like, knock down those preconceived notions. Maybe there’s no expiration date until you say there is. It’s not over until you say it’s over. Unless you say two times over it’s over.”

Trish Stratus teases more to come in her 25th year in WWE

Trish Stratus shared how fulfilling it felt to perform in front of her kids when asked about their reaction to seeing her in the ring. It used to be about proving herself, but now it’s about showing the next generation, including her daughter, what’s possible.

Trish hinted at the possibility of returning to the ring, noting that this year marks a major milestone in her career. “I mean, it’s my 25th year. Let’s make it a good one.”

When discussing the main event between Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky, she commended the entire women’s division for delivering standout performances on WWE Evolution.

“When I mentioned the girls earlier, Ivory, Jackie, Jazz and Lita, this is exactly what we dreamed about. Not just the pay-per-view, but seeing these undeniable matches.”
