JoJo Offerman was part of an emotional segment during one of the premier matches at AEW All In: Texas
Former WWE ring announcer Jojo Offerman made an appearance at AEW All In: Texas on Saturday afternoon. Offerman sang Chaka Khan’s “Ain’t Nobody” as part of Swerve Strickland’s entrance for his tag team match on the card. Offerman has worked with AEW earlier this year, but this is her first on-air appearance for the promotion. She previously handled ring announcing duties for dark matches earlier this year.
Offerman’s performance is notable for multiple reasons. Perhaps most notable, this is her first on-air appearance for a wrestling promotion since leaving WWE. Offerman was a ring announcer in WWE from 2013 until her departure in 2021. In addition, Swerve used “Ain’t Nobody” as his entrance theme song on the independent wrestling scene.
The performance was also lit by lights that were reminiscent of the “fireflies” that were part of Bray Wyatt’s entrance in WWE. Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) and Offerman were married until his untimely passing in 2023. Swerve has also discussed how much of an influence Wyatt was on him, and he previously paid tribute to Wyatt with his ring gear at Full Gear 2023.
Thanks so much to @ItsJoseann for making @SwerveConfident's entrance into All In that much more special!

How did Swerve Strickland fare at AEW All In?
Strickland teamed up with Will Ospreay against the Young Bucks at All In. The match carried a stipulation where Strickland and Ospreay would not be allowed to challenge for the AEW World Championship for a year if they lost. However, the Young Bucks would lose their EVP titles if they lost the match.
Strickland and Ospreay defeated the Bucks, meaning Matthew and Nicholas Jackson lost their EVP titles in AEW. Check out everything that went down at AEW All In, including Adam Cole announcing he was taking some time off and teasing a retirement announcement, here.
