WWE has a new partner.
This Sunday, WWE will host Evolution, an all-women’s premium live event featuring talents of the past, present, and future. Per a new press release, the event itself will be presented in part by a major cosmetic brand.
Today, WWE announced that Maybelline New York, the number one cosmetic brand in the world, has come aboard as its first-ever official cosmetic partner. The agreement between WWE and Maybelline will kick off with the latter serving as the present partner of Evolution. The all-women’s event emanates from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on July 13.
WWE comments on new partnership with Maybelline
“WWE is excited to collaborate with Maybelline, a partner that not only leads the beauty industry but also shares our vision for highlighting amazing individuals across the roster,” said TKO’s Senior Vice President of Partnership Marketing, Brit Santypal.
“Maybelline New York is proud to partner with WWE and have the opportunity to put our products to the ultimate test,” said Amy Whang, President of Maybelline New York. “As the presenting sponsor of Evolution, we’re not just showing up in the ring; we’re supporting a global community that inspires confidence and self-expression, both in and out of the spotlight.”
Maybelline will be the presenting partner designation at Evolution. Additionally, WWE fans will see Maybelline branding on the center ring mat, a custom vignette, and social media integrations. The aforementioned partnership and activation strategy were created in collaboration with L’Oréal’s media agency, Beauty Co-Lab.
As of this writing, seven matches make up the WWE Evolution card. This includes a WWE Women’s World Championship bout between IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley. WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton will also defend her title against WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.
