WWE Reportedly Targeting More AEW Shows After All In Texas

WWE isn’t done with AEW as they are planning more counterprogramming after All In: Texas.

AEW All In: Texas will take place on July 12, 2025, and it will go head-to-head with NXT Great American Bash and Saturday Night’s Main Event. The next day, on July 13, WWE will also air Evolution 2, but the company reportedly isn’t stopping after this weekend.

F4WOnline.com’s Bryan Alvarez shared that WWE has more plans to compete with AEW events and is expected to schedule additional shows that directly challenge AEW in the near future. On Wrestling Observer Radio, Alvarez said, “I was told that if you think WWE learned something or maybe they decided (counterprogramming isn’t a good idea)… no, we’ve got more coming. At any time, you’re gonna hear about the next WWE battle vs AEW, the next counterprogramming attempt. We’ll be hearing about that fairly soon.” [H/T: Wrestletalk]

AEW’s next pay-per-view after All In: Texas is AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door on August 24, 2025, in London. After that, All Out is set for September 20, 2025, in Toronto. Meanwhile, WWE has major shows lined up too. SummerSlam on August 2–3 in East Rutherford, New Jersey for two nights. Following that, Clash in Paris on August 31 in France. It will be interesting to see what the next reported counterprogramming move will be.

MJF responded to WWE’s counter-programming strategy during an interview with TV Insider. He said WWE clearly knows what they’re doing and called it a smart business move. However, he noted that it’s not an accident like some might have you believe. Read MJF’s full statement here.
