Report: Update On Corey Graves’ WWE Status

Corey Graves is back on good terms with WWE after being moved from RAW to NXT earlier this year.

PWInsider reported that any past problems related to Corey Graves’ switch to NXT are now “almost completely forgotten.” Graves had posted his frustration on social media after the move, but later deleted the posts. Even his fellow commentator, Michael Cole, later said the company was “working things out” with him.

The report also mentioned that Corey Graves was “well-received” when he returned to the WWE RAW commentary team earlier this week. Graves worked that show as a replacement for Pat McAfee, who was out for the week. A source within the company also said Graves impressed people in the company with his work as the lead announcer for the recent WWE and AAA Worlds Collide premium live event, which helped boost his standing internally.

Graves teamed up with Konnan on commentary during the WWE and AAA Worlds Collide premium live event. After the show, he praised Konnan for his insight and professionalism, calling him a great partner. Konnan responded with appreciation, saying he enjoyed working with Corey Graves and valued his support. He also added that Graves showed respect for Lucha Libre culture.
