AEW stars Mercedes Moné and The Beast Mortos confirmed their relationship.
It all started when Mortos posted a photo of himself with Mercedes on his Instagram Story. He added the caption, “En tus brazos encuentro paz,” which means “In your arms I find peace.” Moné was previously married to former WWE wrestler and costume designer Sarath Ton.
They both separated peacefully in late 2020. After Mortos’ post, fans began to wonder if Moné, who had been single for some time, was now dating the AEW star. TMZ Sports reported that Mercedes Moné confirmed the news.
Mercedes Moné called her relationship with The Beast Mortos as “a real Beauty and the Beast situation.” With their relationship now public, Moné also sent a message to fans on Twitter/X. She jokingly wrote, “I can’t wait to sue all of you! ?rawwwwrrrrrr #AEWGrandSlamMexico”

Mercedes Moné reveals one of her favorite AEW PPVs
In her recent MonéMag, Mercedes Moné shared her thoughts on this year’s AEW Double or Nothing, calling it one of her favorite pay-per-view events. “Double or Nothing has to be one of my favorite AEW pay-per-views,” Mercedes Moné wrote. “It was last year I made my AEW in-ring debut and won the TBS championship. This year was absolutely insane to watch. I felt like a little kid backstage, watching and screaming with excitement.
“One of the highlights for me was the match between Mina Sharawaki and Toni Storm. Mina is such an incredible addition to our AEW women’s division, bringing charm and a vibrant charisma that lights up the ring.
“Another fantastic match was Adam Page versus Will Ospreay, but the one that truly blew my mind was Anarchy in the Arena. How sick and crazy was that match? From the music playing to Willow getting her lick back to the finish sequence of the match.
“It was pure chaos in the best way possible. I had so much fun watching that match and honestly wished I could have been a fan in the crowd, soaking it all in. Wrestling is for everybody, and this is the kind of wrestling I love—it’s what makes me feel every emotion.”
