Omos Reveals Why NOAH Run Didn’t Last Longer

Why didn’t Omos have a longer run with Pro Wrestling NOAH earlier this year?

Back in January, Omos had a very promising month as a member of the Pro Wrestling NOAH roster and even captured championship gold. However, after a successful title defense on January 25, Omos announced that he was heading back to WWE and relinquished his title. Despite this, Omos hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since.

WWE Superstar Omos recently spoke to WrestleZone via GamblingIndustryNews. When asked why his run in Pro Wrestling NOAH seemingly ended abruptly, Omos revealed the plan was always for him to only be there for a month.

“It was always the plan to spend one month there. I do hope I get to go back soon, but that was always the plan,” he revealed. “I’m a married man, so being away from my wife for over a month was tough! I spent Christmas Day and New Year at home, then went to Japan for four and a half weeks. I loved it and had a blast in Japan, but still, I missed my wife, and I did want to be home, but I cannot wait to go back whenever that time comes.”
