WWE SmackDown saw an increase in viewership on May 23 against the NHL and NBA Playoffs.
According to Wrestlenomics, SmackDown averaged 1.383 million viewers on Friday. The show drew a 0.33 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode, when an average of 1.290 million viewers tuned in. The demo dropped from last week’s show (0.36 rating in the same demographic).

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?
This week’s show kicked off with a promo from Tiffany Stratton. She was interrupted by Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, which led into the show’s opening contest.
Giulia defeated Charlotte Flair and Zelina Vega in a triple threat match to qualify for the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
Elsewhere on the show, LA Knight defeated Aleister Black and Shinsuke Nakamura in a triple threat match to qualify for the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
In the main event of the evening, the WWE Tag Team Title match between the Street Profits and Fraxiom ended in a no-contest when The Wyatt Sicks returned and attacked everyone.
