The Maple Leafs took on the Florida Panthers in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The game was heavily one-sided. The Panthers defeated the Leafs by a whomping six goals to one. As mentioned earlier, this is their seventh game. The Florida Panthers won the series by winning four games, with the Leafs winning only three.
During the entire game, The Rated R Superstar, Cope, had a microphone pinned on him. He was joined rinkside with popular voice actor Mike Pongraczv.
Cope on John Cena’s heel turn
Cope recently shared his thoughts on 17-time WWE Undisputed Champion John Cena’s heel turn.
The Rated R Superstar was a special guest on First Up with Korolnek & Colaiacovo. During his interview, he revealed that he doesn’t watch wrestling anymore because he has already burned out most of the time. He also shared that in his free time, he spends it with his family watching hockey. He then shared that he gets updated on what is happening in the world of professional wrestling via Instagram.
“I generally don’t watch wrestling just because I’m burned out in terms…I think it’s one of those deals when you’re doing it, watching it can be all consuming and I told myself in coming back this time that I wasn’t going to let it do that to me. I have a family and two kids,” Adam Copeland said. “My downtime is spent with them or watching hockey as opposed to critiquing and pulling apart of wrestling shows.
“I get my clips from Instagram and I’ll watch them there. I don’t watch the full story. The follow throughs, and all the little beats here and there. I don’t really know how it went, but a lot of people were talking about it. When you get a character that has been around for that long as a babyface, to turn, it’s like when Hogan turned and joined the NWO. It’s always a good shot in the arm for the business, for sure.” [H/T: Fightful]
