Is Tay Melo finally on her way back to All Elite Wrestling?
Tay Melo last competed for AEW in 2023, losing a tag team street fight with Anna Jay against Willow Nightingale and Ruby Soho. Months later, at Double or Nothing, it was revealed that Melo and Sammy Guevara were expecting their first child.
While Melo competed in Japan earlier this year for STARDOM, she has yet to return to AEW. But it appears that she might be on her way back sooner rather than later.
All Elite Wrestling’s Tay Melo recently spoke with GLOBO. During the interview, Melo revealed that she was recently asked to prepare for her return, which is hopes takes place this weekend at Double or Nothing.
“That day will be Double or Nothing,” Melo said. “It was the event where I announced Luna, and it will have been two years since that moment. Since it’s a new company, I’m the first wrestler to have a baby. It would be a very special date. I’m looking forward to it.”
