Willow Nightingale is still All Elite.
Last week, Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that Willow Nightingale had re-signed with All Elite Wrestling under a multi-year contract. Nightingale, whose previous contract expired later this year, was reportedly happy with her run in AEW, so much so that she looked to stay with the company.
The Takedown on SI confirmed this to be the case through a new interview with Nightingale.
“That is true, yes. I am happy where I am,” Nightingale told The Takedown on SI’s Jon Alba. “I think there is so much left ahead for me to do at AEW, things that I want to accomplish. But also, I’m just really excited to be a part of something when it’s fresh and new and, like, you know, I think we’re past the years of finding our footing. But to have been a part of that and continue to water and watch it grow is just a privilege as well as a joy, you know? So I’m excited to continue, to take part in that.”
Nightingale, A 10-year veteran, initially signed with AEW in late 2022. Since then, she’s notably claimed the TBS Championship. In 2023, she also won the 2023 Women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament by defeating Ruby Soho in the finals.
Currently, Nightingale finds herself entangled in the ongoing story involving The Death Riders, The Elite, The Opps, Swerve Strickland, and Kenny Omega. Last week, she helped her allies fend off The Death Riders and The Elite in the main event of AEW Dynamite.
