The landscape of MLW will reportedly be changing in the coming weeks.
Yesterday it was reported that Janai Kai would be departing Major League Wrestling and that other departures were expected in the coming weeks. We now have more information regarding what the company has planned.
In regards to the upcoming MLW departures, Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that the company will be going through a “roster refresh” over the next several weeks.
This comes down to the company basically running fewer events in 2025. In doing so, MLW intends to bring in “some bigger names on a more consistent basis.”
Major League Wrestling doesn’t have another event lined up until Summer of the Beasts in New York City on June 26. The event is scheduled to be headlined by Matt Riddle defending the MLW World Championship against KENTA.
