Report: Cody Rhodes to Lead WWE’s Massive Show in Mexico

Former WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes to headline WWE’s upcoming massive show in Mexico.

A few days ago, WrestleVotes reported that WWE plans to hold several live events throughout the country, building up to a major show called “SuperShow Mexico.” The company has shown clear interest in expanding its fanbase in Mexico, especially after acquiring Lucha Libre AAA.

Following the acquisition, WWE is set to hold a crossover show called Worlds Collide. It will featured talent from both AAA and NXT. The show will take place on June 7, 2025, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

With WWE building strong momentum around it’s presence in Mexico. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer recently shared a major update, revealing that WWE is planning a significant show in Mexico featuring Cody Rhodes as the top star.

“They will be doing a WWE show there. I don’t know the date yet, but I know they’re planning a big show with Cody Rhodes as the top star on that show, which means a major show there, relatively soon.” [H/T: WrestlingInc]

Although the exact date remains unconfirmed, the event is expected to take place relatively soon. Cody Rhodes, who is reportedly set to be the top star of the show. He has not been seen since losing his Undisputed Title to John Cena at WrestleMania 41.
