Nigel McGuinness has officially revealed when he’ll be returning to the ring, and it’s very soon.
During Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision, McGuinness said that he would be teamnig up with Daniel Garcia to take on FTR at AEW Double or Nothing. McGuinness will look to help Garcia exact some revenge against the group, who has been running rampant all month.
FTR started their turn last month, when they bullied Tony Schiavone multiple times. This caused McGuinness to step up, but nothing came of it. After FTR confronted McGuinness this week on AEW Dynamite, though, the superstar had seen enough.
For Nigel McGuinness, this will be the first time he steps into the ring since last year. He previously competed against Lee Moriarty at AEW Final Battle in December, answering the stars open challenge.
AEW Double or Nothing will take place on May 25, 2025. The event will be held at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. The event will be highlighted by the finals of both the Men’s and Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament.
