The Motor City Machine Guns are right where they want to be as members of the WWE roster.
SmackDown Superstars Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, The Motor City Machine Guns, recently sat down with Shakiel Mahjouri of SHAK Wrestling. When asked whose decision it was in WWE to sign them, Alex Shelley said he wasn’t sure, but it came down to wanting to work for Triple H.
“We have no idea whose idea it was to bring us in,” Alex Shelley admitted. “What I can say, though, we talked directly to Paul, Triple H, and he treated us with the utmost respect. A huge factor in our decision was that we wanted to be players on his team. We wanted to be a part of the WWE machine, specifically with him leading the charge. That to me was something that was always at the front of our minds.” [H/T: Fightful]
Within a matter of weeks of being on SmackDown, Shelley and Sabin defeated The Bloodline to capture the WWE Tag Team Titles for the first time.
