A TNA legend was spotted backstage at the latest AEW Dynamite taping.
All Elite Wrestling presented the May 7 episode of Dynamite from Detroit, MI. Director of Business Development and occasional AEW superstar Jeff Jarrett dropped a backstage photo from last night’s event.
The photo featured Double J with The Alpha Male himself, Monty Brown. Jarrett noted in his caption that the TNA legend was in Detroit for AEW tapings.

Fans react to Jeff Jarrett reuniting with Monty Brown on AEW Dynamite
The reunion seems to have brought back a lot of memories for TNA fans who grew up watching Jeff Jarrett and Monty Brown back in the day.
“Glad to see the brother looking happy and healthy. S/O to Monty Brown the TNA Legend,” a fan commented. “Man I miss Monty Brown in the ring,” another said.
Jeff Jarrett and Monty Brown squared off for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at TNA Final Resolution 2005. Despite being super over with the fans, Monty failed to beat Double J for the title in the main event.
After his TNA run ended, Brown worked for WWE as “Marcus Cor Von” on its ECW brand. Brown retired from wrestling in 2007 and started working outside of the business as a personal trainer.
